Virtual Functional Medicine Membership Renewal

At the California Center for Functional Medicine (CCFM), our mission is to provide you with personalized, expert care that empowers you to achieve optimal health. As part of our commitment to excellence, we’re making updates to our membership pricing and structure.

As memberships renew in 2025, we’re introducing necessary adjustments to align with the feedback we have received from our patients as well as our clinicians’ expertise. These changes stem from our commitment to continually enhance the quality of care you receive. 

We understand that change can raise questions, so we want to share the “why” behind these adjustments:

1. Enhanced Value and Flexibility:
• We’ve transitioned to 6-month membership terms, offering you greater flexibility and eliminating the need for a long-term commitment.
• Our experienced clinicians have restructured memberships to better support progress toward health goals, enhancing value and intentionality. This update retires the "comprehensive" and "clinician-focused" membership variations.
• Most membership tiers now include more clinician time and unlimited nutrition and health coaching services, giving you even more support on your health journey.

2. Simplified Payment Options:
• We are transitioning all memberships to monthly payments, making it easier to manage your membership budget. As a result, we are retiring the annual payment structure.

3. Clear Visit Tracking:
• We’ve streamlined our system by focusing on the number of visits with your clinician instead of tracking your clinician minutes used, ensuring clarity and ease.
• The standard visit length will now be 45 minutes for all memberships to ensure you are receiving the highest quality of in-depth care from your clinician.

4. Maintaining Industry Standards:
• To continue providing exceptional care, we periodically review pricing to align with industry trends and rising costs. Our last membership price adjustment was in 2021, and an update is now necessary to maintain the quality and service you expect. Thank you for your continued trust.
• As a reminder, we provide superbills reflecting your monthly membership fee allocated across visits, which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement, though coverage depends on your specific plan and is not guaranteed.

5. More Appointment Flexibility:
• We’re introducing a new option to purchase additional appointment time in the exact amount needed (available in 15-minute increments), rather than being restricted to hour-long increments. This allows you to tailor your care to your specific needs, whether you require a brief consultation or a longer, in-depth session.

 

We’re confident these updates will allow us to better support you in achieving your health goals while continuing to deliver a high level of value.
