Introduction to Breathwork
Breathing and its potential effects on our lives, positive and negative, are enormous.
You will breathe about 670 million breaths in your life, but forty percent of today’s population will be taking those breaths using dysfunctional breathing patterns like mouth breathing. This type of dysfunctional breathing sets us up for chronic ailments, disease, lower quality of life, and mortality. Efficient breathing can create functional breathing habits and transform our health and our lives.
This self-guided video series will introduce you to the concept and importance of breathwork and features several different breathing techniques designed to promote relaxation, build greater resilience to stress, and support many body systems.
Our goal is to provide you with tools that can be used any time, anywhere to help relax the nervous system and help you become more resilient to everyday challenges.
Stressful Times Toolkit
We all experience stress -- now more than ever -- and have been trained to think of it as “bad.” But, it doesn’t have to be. At CCFM, we find that one of the most powerful tools for our patients and ourselves is to learn to recognize, manage, and transform stress. This practice is critical for long-term wellness, recovery from illness, and optimal function.
This 6-week program will provide a "tasting menu" of many powerful tools and practices that can be used to navigate stress. It includes sessions led by CCFM clinicians, as well as globally recognized guests who are teachers, authors, and educators in their fields.
Topics will include:
- Vagus nerve support
- Movement and exercise
- And more!
Our goal is to give you tools, education, and support to help you live a more balanced life.
Are you in search of sleep? Fifty to seventy million Americans have a chronic sleep disorder. Poor sleep undercuts cognitive and brain function affecting your memory, problem-solving, decision-making, and emotional well-being leading to increased rates of anxiety and depression. Poor sleep also takes a toll on immune and metabolic function, increasing risk of obesity, diabetes, heart attack, stroke and cancer. Simply put, sleep deprivation can cause seriously harmful health consequences and shorten your lifespan.
CCFM’s Sleep Mastery program provides a deep dive on the physiology of sleep and focuses on identifying sleep disruptors. You’ll receive key lifestyle hacks, apps, and wearable technology to optimize your sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. Join our Optimal Sleep program today!

Do you live in an area at risk for wildfires where you are increasingly exposed to smoke?
Our Smoke Exposure Support course will provide you with the necessary tools needed to mitigate harmful exposure to wildfire smoke, alleviate symptoms caused by potential exposure, and best protect your overall health during these challenging times. Join our Smoke Exposure Support program today!
